The IWBF is the governing body of world wide basketball. This site has information on wheelchair basketball rules, current news, Basketball News magazine, campetition (including Paralympics), and classification information. The site is in English and French.
The National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) is comprised of 181 basketball teams within twenty-two conferences. The NWBA was founded in 1948, and today consists of men's, women's, intercollegiate, and youth teams throughout the United States of America and Canada.
The Canadian Wheelchair Basketball Association is the National Sports Governing Body responsible for the organization of wheelchair basketball in Canada. Representatives from each Province elect the Board of Directors. The Board establishes policy and lends guidance to the development of the sport in Canada and is the Canadian member to International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF)
The GBWBA is the governing body for all wheelchair basketball played in Great Britain. It is responsible for administring a National League, which runs from October to March, and all sanctioned Cup Competitions, Championships and Tournaments. The National League currently consists of 6 divisions, a national 1st division, two regional 2nd divisions and 3 regional 3rd divisions.
The London Wheelchair Basketball Association was formed October 28, 1984, to organize, develop, and enhance wheelchair basketball for the physically disabled in London. The LWBA is completely non-profit and is carried on without gain for its members.
